Elegant Naomi

Are't these beautiful of my grandaughter Naomi? Thank you that she is as sweet to her granny as beautiful!

Middlefield Cheese Factory in Amish Territory ....Marshall was so gracious to run me anywhere I wanted on our trip. One of the pace I used to love was going to deliver milk to the cheese factory and we would always visit with the Amish farmers..... It has enlarged quite a bit since we lived there but even Walmart has  covered parking stalls for the Amish...I thought that was so cute of them

Mantua Walk

What a beautiful day for a walk and a great trail....Marsh and I had a really nice walk ...We skipped stones for quite a while in the beautiful clear river....listened to the birds in the trees.....it was so pleasant...after the walk the gals went to McDonalds but I wanted to tour all the hang out places in Mantua when we were kids Marsh went along with my whim and I discovered so many beautiful antique homes ....old hangouts and even a Catholic church I went to with my neighbor Mickey and Chuck...fun !

Reunion Picnic

We hads lots and lots of great food and desserts. Like a dummy(and you all know how forgetful i am about this) I forgot my glasses so it was hard for me to recognize peoples names on thier tags....but it was so fun once I did...We had a great time talking with one another and then we went on a hayride.... quite a vigiorous one I might add....and lots of screaming and laughter. Then on to the bonfire.... I stayed down there so longw my coat ended up smelling like smoke for two days.

When we went to Rays home he had these beautiful corn fields in the back.....I told Marsh it reminded me of the movie Field of Dreams....so we ran over for a quick pic....typical scene in Nebraska  . . . I guess that's why they call them Cornhuskers

Grandpa Buck and Grandma Barb (they just don't seem old enough for that ) showed us such a nice time while we were there...One of the neat things they did was take us up to Scotts Bluff... a very unique land form in the middle of flatlands...How cute of God to put it there to give weary travelers hope and something to strive for in the midst of a flat boring road ahead...life lesson for us amen?

3 3/4 Generations

I thought this was a neat picture of the Carol and Ed with the girls....and the new greatgrandbaby just waiting to come out and give her grannies all a smooch......

Looking at old photos with Patty and the family

"Family is everything" a quote from Uncle Micky...and he is right besides the Lord I can't think of anything so precious....we spent quite a while looking through old photos ...laughing about our hair and ooing over the black and white photos..... That's why I love pictures so much because they help us remember and put a smile on our face

School Tour

I can't tell how much fun it was going through the classrooms with old chums and remembering things together....Things that teachers said ,things we did and even  what seat in what class during Kennedy's shooting.....

Dinner Dance

It was so nice having Tom, Karen, Sally ,Jack and Rose sit with us...The food was yummy  . . . there was lots of laughter...of course with Jim Patrick as our MC!!! Carolyn opened with prayer and prizes galore.....The dancing was a blast ...from king tut to the twist and even a little Electric Slide slipped in.... It was a good time...It was fun Thanks classmates for making it an awesome 1st reunion for me Thanks guys for trying to bless me with your kind words

Steelers-Jack Lambert- Crestwood Classmate

Just for info.... I just found out at the reunion while looking in the trophy cases that Jack Lambert from our high school is the same Jack Lambert 3 time Superbowl ring,Pittsbug Steelers and now in the Canton Hall of fame...thought is was very cool

Sutherland Rodeo

We had such a great time at the Rodeo when we were back there....it was an exciting rodeo but it was so very nostalgic....in the midwest all people stand for the flag....and people pray for the rodeo...I love that so much....and besides all that the power of those horses running right by the fence was thrilling and a little scary

People be tripin' , man

Naomi can take a pic with anything and she looks cute.....but no road trips for this little gal yet!!!!Thats right! says nana

Grandma always appreciated a nice pic of herself and I think this is really sweet grandma looking pic of her.The only thing missing is her doggie...Brooklyn said at the memorial that his favorite memory of grandma was getting a card from her with a pic of her and her doggie....we will miss you grandma Connie
